Hear from our wonderful guests who have experienced the magic of Agnes Meadow, our countryside retreat, and our beloved Dutch Spotted sheep.
Based on guest reviews and testimonials
"Agnes Meadow exceeded all our expectations. The farmhouse is beautifully restored with every comfort you could want, yet it retains all its original character. Waking up to the sight of the Dutch Spotted sheep grazing in the fields was pure magic. The location is perfect - peaceful and secluded, yet just minutes from Dovedale and close to so many attractions. Our children loved watching the lambs, and we adults loved the stunning sunsets from the conservatory. We'll definitely be back!"

"My partner and I spent a long weekend at Agnes Meadow for our anniversary, and it was perfect. The house is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. We loved sitting in the conservatory with our morning coffee, watching the sheep. The location is so peaceful, yet we were able to visit Chatsworth House and explore the Peak District easily."

"We stayed for a week with our three children and elderly parents - 8 of us in total. The house accommodated everyone perfectly. The kids were fascinated by the farm animals, especially during lambing season. The walking paths right from the door were perfect for grandparents, and Alton Towers kept the teenagers happy!"

The Dutch Spotted sheep are gorgeous - we got some amazing photos! We felt like we were staying with family friends."

"We're keen walkers and Agnes Meadow was the perfect base for exploring the Peak District. The Tissington Trail is just minutes away, and Dovedale is practically on the doorstep. After long days of hiking, returning to the comfort of the farmhouse was bliss. The log burner and comfy living room were perfect for cozy evenings."

Our kids still talk about the baby lambs they saw. A magical experience for the whole family.
